WALNUT CUPCAKES RECIPE
WALNUT CUPCAKES RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
2½ cups (310g) all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons (16g) Cocoa powder
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1½ cups (300g)
Sugar 1 cup – 1 tbsp (200g)
Vegetable oil
2 Eggs
1/2 cup (115g) butter, room temperature
1-2 tablespoons Choco red food coloring
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract Chopped walnuts
METHOD
1.In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until smooth.
2.Add eggs one at the time, beating until combined after each addition.
3.Add oil and beat until combined
4.In a bowl sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Stir and set aside.
5.Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix after each addition until well combined. Add vanilla extract and mix.
6.Add food coloring and mix and add the chopped walnuts to the batter.
7.Pour the batter into the cupcake baking pan greased with butter
8.Also you can use parchment paper.
9.In a preheated oven bake at 150c for 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
10.Cool the cupcakes in their pans for 10 min. Release from the pan, then let cool completely.
